Bath Tub Filter OverflowUpdated 5 hours ago
In some bathrooms where the water flow is especially strong and can't be adjusted without lowering the temperature, most common in single knob setups, it’s perfectly normal to see some water flow out of the overflow opening above the Canopy Bath Tub Filter. This feature is intentional.

Bathtub spouts are built to release water quickly to fill the tub, and the Canopy Bath Tub Filter includes a built-in Spillway to safely manage any excess.

If the pressure is too strong for the filter to handle all at once, the Spillway activates to divert some of the water out the front, preventing pressure buildup and overflow.

Whether the water flows entirely through the filter or partially through the Spillway, you can feel confident knowing that the majority, typically 80–99%, is still being effectively filtered before it reaches your bath. A huge improvement over unfiltered tap water.
