Water is coming out from the opening above my filter, is that okay?Updated a day ago

Yes, it's perfectly normal for some customers to see overflow water which does not pass through the Bath Tub Filter. This happens in Bath Tub setups where customers don't have the ability to adjust the flow rate of their water.

Bathtub spouts are engineered for fast water output to fill a tub quickly, which means the water flow rate can be quite high. The Canopy Bath Tub Filter is designed with a built-in Spillway to manage excess water.

If the pressure is too strong for the filter to handle all at once, the Spillway activates to divert some of the water out the front, preventing pressure buildup and overflow.

Whether water flows through the filter entirely or partially, you can rest assured that the majority, typically between 80–100%, is being effectively filtered before reaching your bath.
