Leaving the showerhead installed, push the outer rim of the showerhead upwards until you hear a click. This will release the inner face, which will pop out, without fully disengaging.

Twist the face counterclockwise to release the safety setting and remove it from the body.

Place the removed face down on a flat surface. Twist the cap counterclockwise to open. Discard the old filter and replace it with a new replacement filter, flat, wide side facing down.

Screw cap back onto face by turning clockwise until secure. Tighten until the arrows are aligned.

Reattach the face by pressing into the body directly, no need to turn this time. Push until you head a click. If the face is not aligning with the body remove and ensure the cap is fully tightened.
