Come on in the water pressure's sublime! 

Canopy Filtered Showerheads sold through the Canopy website are our High Flow units which are set to release 2.5 gallons per minute (GPM). 

For residents in specific states (CA, NY, CO, HI, MA, OR, RI), where water conservation is paramount, regulations mandate the installation of a 1.8 or 2.0 GPM restrictor on all showerheads and faucets. If you reside in one of these states, we've got you covered.

Remove the face from the shell of the Showerhead, the same way you would when changing the filter:

Take a skinny tool, like a chopstick or pencil, and poke through the Showerhead to pop out the flow restrictor. (Be mindful of your hands, and don't use anything sharp for this task!) 

Insert the 1.8 GPM flow restrictor, found in your Showerhead packaging. Reinsert the mesh rubber washer back in place and you're ready to go!

To distinguish between the two restrictors, keep in mind that the Low Flow option is black, while the High Flow variant is grey/white.
